| Today in class, I spent about five minutes staring at a guy who was staring at himself. The guy sat next to a window, and he was studying himself through the reflection. He would flex his bicep, relax, flex it again, and then feel the muscle with his other hand. Sometimes he would give a nod of approval. Other times he would lean back and look at his arm quizzically as if he's wondering how his arm became so huge and awesome. I sat there wondering how a person could love himself so much. Then I realized that I stared at a guy for five minutes. |

They're an icon of permanence, but people ironically get tattoos when their lives are changing the most. |
